On Thursday, October 10, the US Embassy has asked visa applicants to apply for the US work visa 3 months before their employment starts.
The US Embassy tweeted:
“Applying for your work #USvisa? You can apply up to 90 days before the employment start date noted on your I-797 form.”
The USCIS official website stated that the I-797 form is a document the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) uses “to communicate with applicants/petitioners or convey an immigration benefit.”
The United States’ work visa for Indian citizens is one of the most major issues between the United States and India’s bilateral ties.
After a work visa, the H-1B visa is observed as the most demanded visa among Indian professionals. H-1B is a non-immigrant visa that enables US companies to employ foreign citizens in specialty occupations that need theoretical or technical proficiency.
