According to the report issued by the Henley Passport Index (HPI), Pakistani passport has been ranked as the 4th weakest document for international travel.
The 2020 Index has been revealed according to which Pakistan stands on the 104th position out of 107 countries.
In 2019, Pakistani passport had been ranked as the 5th worst passport to hold which means it slipped further in the global rankings.
India has also dropped 10 places to 84 from 74. While Japan could secure the top place as the world’s most powerful passport in the annual HPI for the 3rd consecutive year.
The Henley Passport Index is an annual ranking of all the passports in the world based on how many destinations the holder can access without a prior visa. The data for the ranking is collected from the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
Currently, Pakistan can access to 32 countries without a prior visa.
